Kota Bharu: After more than a year are hunted, the most wanted criminals, 'Mat Hatim' or full name Hatim Mohd Zain, 25, finally fell down when killed in an exchange of fire at an unnumbered house in Kampung Bira Telipot, Pasir Puteh, at 4.10 am earlier.
Also killed was another allies Saupi Mohamad Hafiz, 25, from Kampung Peacock Banggu, Highland.
Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Bukit Aman, Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh said Mat Hatim has long pursued the cases involved murder and shooting at Kemasin Village, Highland, in February last year.
"Operating in the morning run a team of Special Operations Investigations Division / Planning (D8) Bukit Aman raided the rented house occupied act of two suspects involved in the past two months.
"In the rush of the suspects fired seven shots that helped das mencederakan three members including a clerk.
"But all three of the injured wrist, thighs and stomach are in stable condition, treated at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kubang Kerian," he said at a press conference earlier.
Mohmad believe the death of the suspect police were able to solve two murder cases, three cases of attempted murder with a firearm in addition to the active drug over the past three years.
Polis also seized two pistols Cz types Compact .38 75D and Brazilian-made wood tipped with brown.
