Rice with gravy and pickled fish, if there is no money to eat cassava



Kota Bharu: Every day we had to supply food to only eat a kilo of rice gravy budu for our seven children.

"If there is not enough money, we had to eat cassava and bananas boiled for a few days," said Zaiton Mamat, 41, who lives in a dilapidated condition with her husband and five children aged between three and 19 years in the Village to the princess, Endowments Che Yeh, here since five months ago.



Sadly, they had to use a generator after the electricity supply was cut in his home over the past year and use wood stoves for cooking.

Two sons, Mohd Lukman, 19, and Mohd Hakim, 14, had to quit school early to help the family while another son, Nur Amina Risya, 4, lived with his aunt in Kuala Lumpur because of the hardship of life.

Zaiton said, his family life began to change after her husband, Mohd Zulkifli Abdullah, 45, who previously worked as a carpenter can not work due to illness tumors in the stomach.

This is a daily routine that had to be borne by a single mother, it is hoped the relevant authorities can help furniture fate and their lives.
