CAIRO - EGYPT. A team of doctors shocked after having a roll of banknotes wrapped in plastic in the stomach of a patient.
Before that, doctors scan the stomach of a patient who complained of abdominal pain appendicitis disease believed to be caused in a hospital in Cairo, Egypt.
The results of the scan, doctors found a roll in the stomach that causes patients often complain of pain and vomiting.
"We made a surgery to remove the scroll and found a roll of banknotes worth EGP 1,000 (RM543) in the patient's stomach wrapped in white plastic.
"We just never found the iron or the bones in the belly of the patient, but this is the first time we find the money," said the doctor quoted Emirates 24/7.
Patients were detained by police for questioning about how the money could be in his stomach.
