The award ceremony of the prestigious American Music Awards (AMA) held this morning (Malaysian time) on the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
The award is an annual music awards USA created by Dick Clark in 1973.
Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, AMA 2015 saw a turnout of celebrities from the music and entertainment industry such as Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, One Direction and Nicki Minaj.
Lanis Morrissette, Demi Lovato, Jared Leto and Celine Dion are among the ranks of singers who performed at the awards ceremony in conjunction with Microsoft's Theatre.
Although not able to attend the awards ceremony this AMA, Taylor Swift won three awards this year from the 20 awards presented.
The popular singer has won the Best Song trophy 2015 (Blank Space), Best Pop Album 2015 (1989) and Artis choice for contemporary adults.
Best Artist Award 2015 was acquired by the group One Direction and Best Male Singer award for the category of Pop was won by Ed Sheeran.
In the women category Pop Similarly, won Best Female Singer award by Ariana Grande.
