White House petition waste free Anwar


SHAH ALAM - White House Administration acts to petition demanding the intervention of the Government of the United States (US) to free Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on its website yesterday, two days before the period of collecting signatures to support such efforts ended.

According to the authorities, the petition was removed because it violated the terms of participation.

"Even if you can not sign this petition, there may be another petition on the website We the People of similar issues that you can sign, or you can create your own petition," according to the site administrator.

The action angered supporters of Anwar's 'attack' Facebook accounts the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

"I am a supporter of the petition (Girlfriend Anwar). I do not say we agree violates the terms of participation and action you discard this petition restrict our freedom.

"Please tell us how the alleged breach of the rules ?." Thus between Anwar supporters statement posted on the embassy's Facebook comment section.

The US government provides a platform that allows the People We the people of that country to create a petition demanding the administration of US President Barack Obama to take action on any issue involving the country where the issues raised have sufficient amount of support within the prescribed period.

Anwar acquittal petition raised back to the White House website



KUALA LUMPUR: A petition demanding the release of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from prison in platform 'We the People' in the White House Web site administrators raised back early this morning.

The case is confirmed by PKR communications director, Fahmi Fadzil in one tuit through his personal account in Twitter.

Until this report was written, by 106.584 signatures have been collected. The initial goal is to collect 100,000 signatures before 12 March

Earlier, Bernama reported that the petition had been drawn administrators for allegedly violating regulations.

"Petition that you are trying to access has been removed from the site by our moderation policy because it violates our Terms of Participation," said a message on the website.

He did not give a specific reason petition is issued.

Adolescents affected hold 'kidnap' bus carrying the streets



SINGAPORE - A 17-year-old teenager was arrested on suspicion of running away with a private bus and drive it as far as 155km over six hours, overnight.

According to the Straits Times, the vehicle is parked in an industrial area, Woodlands.

It is understood that these adolescents through Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, East Coast, East Coast Park, Toa Payoh, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Boon Lay and Jurong East before being detained in Bukit Batok Central.

AZ Bus company operations manager, Francis Toh had tracked the bus using GPS tracking device.

Police are still investigating the motive of the incident.
