Disappointed breakup, volunteer police hanged himself

People around Llandrindod Hang Tuah in Melaka visit Mermaids victim's home, Nazarul Hafiq Abu Bakar who was found dead in the bedroom early Saturday morning by her cousin.

Mermaids: A volunteer police allegedly hanged himself in a residence owned by the grandmother at the junction of Hang Tuah Mermaid Llandrindod here early Saturday morning.

The victim identified as Nazarul Hafiq Abu Bakar, 24, was discovered in a state of suspense after his cousin was not out of his bedroom since Friday morning.

According to the victim's father, Abu Bakr Ali, his nephew told him that he had to enter the victim's room through the window because the door was locked from inside her room before her son was found dead in her bedroom at about 6am.

According to Abu Bakr, his son continued to enter and locked himself in his room ever since returning from work at about 10am on Friday.

If no response is received after being called many times, grandmother became suspicious and sent him to check the condition of the victim.

Abu Bakr also said the victim, which is the second of three siblings are believed to suffer from depression because too disappointed with his former girlfriend who had a relationship and was engaged to another man.

Due to too disappointed, the victim was a sad episode never share with his father.

Immediately after being told about what happened to his son, Abu Bakr had made a statement at the police station in Ayer Keroh Cage.

His son had joined police and volunteers had been working in Tiang Dua police station since last Ramadan.

The victim lived with her grandmother since four years ago after graduating from a college in Malacca.

The body was then taken to the Malacca Hospital for an autopsy.

Beware of unregistered drugs in social media



Kota Bahru - Beware the sale of unregistered medicines and approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for a cheap price through Facebook.

Assistant Director of Pharmacy, Department of Health Mohammad Sabah Aswady Adenan a warning that says online business methods or online to medium groups of traders who want to make money easily.

"If we use drugs that are mixed with substances such as steroids it would be detrimental to health. Of course, it will give an immediate effect but the future health will be affected," he said.

He said various campaigns have been carried out to give a clearer understanding to the public about the dangers of drugs not registered.
