Iriz Proton has launched a book 17000
After a few months on display, a compact car Proton, Iriz received 17,000 pre-launch bookings so far.
Proton Holdings Bhd expects Iriz, 23rd Proton models will drive overall sales and help achieve the sales target of 160,000 units per year for all models.
Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed said Iriz will contribute significantly to Proton's sales and more orders are expected after launch.
said Iriz, which are in the B segment, will help Proton to dominate the automotive market with a greater competitive price and features innovative technology.
"Proton is on the right track with production Iriz meet global standards and global regulation," he told reporters after launching the car at the Proton plant here today.
