Paris: Muslims are able to detect elements in pig feed, cosmetics and medicines in just a few minutes through the introduction of kit 'HalalTest' release of two French entrepreneurs.
Kit that matches the pregnancy test is equipped with two small test tube, which allows the sample food mixed with warm water before the test stick into the water concerned.
Within just a few minutes, the results will appear on the test stick. A sample line means no pork items, while two lines mean that there are elements in the samples from pigs.
Jean-Francois Julien and Abderrahmane Chaoui got the idea to produce HalalTest while at university two years ago.
The company manufacturers, Biotech Capital stated, no other test kit allows users detect elements pigs easier and faster than HalalTest with 99 percent accuracy, and at a price of 6.90 euros (RM28.67).
Since its launch last Wednesday, they received an initial order of 10,000 test kits HalalTest within 24 hours.
