The poor girl's face Syahtul will be rebuilt - Experts HUSM



Kota Bharu: The face of 22-year-old girl, who tapped Syahtul Lah thieves in a burglary yesterday can be treated by reconstructive surgery, said Director of Health Campus Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Datuk Dr Mafauzy Mohamed.

He said, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has the technology and expertise that is sufficient to perform the operation include plastic surgeons.



"What damage to the body either by accident or others can be treated in the hospital because of the expertise we have included cases that hit this season.

"However, we still need to talk to an expert group to ensure the level of injury on his face before the procedure can be taken further.

"Usually in the case of damage to the face, we just need reconstructive surgery takes between two to three hours at minimum cost," he said when contacted yesterday.
