Police chopper crashed in Tanah Merah


Kuala Lumpur: Yesterday a police helicopters crashed in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, air fateful mission to deliver supplies to flood victims in Tanah Merah.

Following the deployment of a Whatsapp message stating a police helicopter was involved in an accident in Tanah Merah, Chief of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the accident really happened that evening.

According to Khalid, Eurocopter AS355N Ecureuil 2 with registration 9M-PHD is owned by police and was involved in the accident Village, Tanah Merah, Kelantan.









In that incident, two pilots and two crew members were reportedly injured and they were taken to the Hospital Tanah Merah. All passengers in the helicopter were reported safe.

According to Khalid, the helicopter is on a mission to send food supplies to flood victims in Kampung Baru, Tanah Merah.

Tan Sri Khalid has confirmed reports that more than an hour after the message about the incident hovering in social media and application WhatsApp.
