14 YEARS OF TRUSTED GIRL IS AFFECTED BEFORE ENTERING TAHFIZ



Adolescents aged 14 when he was arrested in Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang recently.

Bukit Aman believe 14-year-old girl who tried to join the militant group CI in Syria, was influenced by the ideology of the group before entering school tahfiz again.

Assistant Director General of Anti-Terrorist Division, Special Branch, Bukit Aman, Senior Assistant Commissioner Datuk Ayub Khan Transformers Pitchay said, was based on a preliminary investigation of the girl.

However, the investigation remains ongoing to see if there is involvement of schools in spreading the ideology tahfiz respect IS, said when contacted by Bernama, said Sunday.

"We have identified tahfiz school and so far we are tactics ... but I am sure this girl before entering tahfiz, he was exposed to the influence of the IS through the internet.

"We will also investigate the teachers in the school tahfiz, including their background," he said.

On Wednesday, the girl was detained at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang when trying to go to Syria via Egypt.

The girl who comes from Muar it is the student of religious studies at an institute tahfiz in Shah Alam.
