Perai - PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail announced as candidates for the party in Permatang Pauh.
He is expected to face three-cornered contest after BN Umno secretary named Ko Yao, Suhaimi Sabudin and independent candidate Dr Abdullah Zawawi Samsudin, who is also standing for election.
Permatang Pauh held following the decision of the Board of Pardons refused royal pardon petition requested the Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim through his family members resulting in Anwar disqualified as an elected representative.
Anwar is serving a five-year prison sentence for conviction sodomizing his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Election Commission has fixed the nomination process for PRK tomorrow and voting on May 7.
