KUALA LUMPUR: Approximately 1,500 representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) arrived at Dewan Tun Hussein Onn, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here to attend #NothingtoHide: "Dialogue with NGOs PM" on Friday.
NGO representatives and the media are still waiting for a program start even at 8:55 am, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar announced the cancellation of the event through Twitter page.
At around 9.30am, announcers council said the event is not open to the press and the media asked to leave the hall after drawing with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak recorded.
Currently, NGOs and media representatives still awaiting the arrival of Najib.
Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad reportedly already arrived and waited in the VIP room.
