KUALA LUMPUR - A total of 163.007 civil servants who have never made a payment and inconsistent resolve outstanding National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) will receive a letter of wage cuts in the near future.
Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa said in a statement today, said the letter will be issued by the Public Service Department (JPA).
He said that according to the category of civil servants of various grades (except Grade Jusa C, Grade 54 and Grade 28) who have not made payments amounting to 32.803 people.
"Civil servants of various grades who make occasional payments (inconsistent) was 130.204 people," he said.
Ali had reportedly said the move to cut civil servants' salaries mandatory debt clay PTPTN will only do as a last resort to resolve the issue.
