Titanic composer fatal plane crash

COMPOSER soundtrack of the famous film Titanic, James Horner, 61, died in a plane crash in Southern California.

According to the report, single-engine plane owned by 61-year-old musician has crashed yesterday near Quatal Canyon in Los Padres National Forest, about 100 miles from Los Angeles.

Local authorities said the pilot who allegedly operated a landscape James was killed and no other passengers in the plane.

Composer lawyer, Jay Cooper said the plane belonged to James and no information has been received from him since the incident.

"The plane was hers, and if not him in the air, he'll call," he was quoted Metro.uk

James is a prolific composer and create a soundtrack for the blockbuster movies including Avatar, Troy, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, A Beautiful Mind, Aliens, Braveheart, Apollo 13 and also several Star Trek films.

However, the work of James the most attention is the soundtrack of the film Titanic, My Heart Will Go On even winning an Oscar Award for Original Music Score and Best Original Music.
