Mazda MX-5 began in Malaysia: 2.0L, 6sp Auto, RM219,999

It's been a long time coming - the car was unveiled last year at this time - and after months of teasing and information and images, ND fourth-generation Mazda MX-5 has finally been launched in Malaysia leak.

This is an expensive little bicycle Tyke, because the first things did not beat around the bush. A different, and there is a price, three-year / 100,000 km warranty on the road without insurance inclusive, and three-year / 60,000 km free service package - - a cool RM219,999 You will need to leave it all.

But hey, at least our MX-5 is loaded to the teeth with the kit. Springy, but split styling Adaptive LED headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights and large 17-inch wheels, shod with 205/45 section tires with the latter bolstered. Keyless Entry, an option in other markets, is also installed here.

Step inside and you start simple push of a button on the driver-oriented cockpit, auto lights and wipers, cruise control, auto air con's, leather upholstery, a seven MZD Connect infotainment system is equipped with the knowledge that you'll find Inch Touch screen and Commander control knob and a nine-speaker Bose sound system (just like the original headrest speakers, as well!).

Dynamic stability, security and control (DSC), High Beam Control (HBC) and lane departure warning system (LDWS) are four airbags, EBD (front and side), ABS and Brake Assist.

158 HP at 6,000 RPM and 200 Nm of torque at 4,600 RPM, a 2.0-liter high-compression, direct-injected four pot SkyActiv G - under the lid, we get more powerful of the two engines available.

A six-speed automatic with paddle shifters SkyActiv drive transmission that we will be able to choose. In a row, if you are looking for your own Roadster box, you say, but enough - so I'll save it - you probably long enough for us a hand heard lament the lack of gearbox option will have to look elsewhere. Also equipped with a stop auto start-stop system and energy regeneration in the ELOOP.
