KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar ordered former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to the king, today.
Sources told AWANI, said Muhyiddin is expected to meet the Sultan of Johor at 3.30pm at Istana Bukit Serene here.
"I was told Sultan will call him next to the Palace," the source said.
Meanwhile, the news portal The Malaysian Insider quoted as saying the meeting was expected to discuss the issue of abortion from the Cabinet and his current issues.
Muhyiddin is also expected to hold meetings with NGOs in Johor Malay 5pm today at a hotel in Portrush.
On Sunday, he officiated at the Annual General Meeting of the Division Kluang, Kluang.
It was the first meeting which was opened by Muhyiddin after being dropped from the cabinet.
Umno liaison Johor, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin had earlier made a statement does not preclude any part to pick Muhyiddin officiating.
"Muhyiddin was still deputy president and hoped that all parties continue to respect it," he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Umno Youth chief Branch City Kluang Azizul Ali, Najib's Cabinet drop Muhyiddin than 145,000 ignore his voice vote in the previous election.
"Party members always want to be the party that controls the government. This is often referred to in the general assembly.
