Stormwater runoff video in Cameron Highlands like a small tsunami


Flood water flow is quite strong like a small tsunami, while the incidence of many vehicles and equipment were damaged in the flow further.

Homes and vehicles affected are located on the banks of the River Ringlet in the village.
More than 20 homes and 20 vehicles affected and damaged by mudslides in Kampung Baru Ringlet.




Six families comprising 26 people were transferred to the Cameron House while the rest stayed in the family home or their relatives.

In the body of 13-year-old boy who reportedly drifted in Telom, Kampung Raja here yesterday found earlier.

His body was found stuck in a vegetable garden at the Pulai here around 9:15 am. Within the scene as far as
two miles.

According to an acquaintance of the victim's family before the incident the teen's father owned tractors before slipping into the river.

"He helped her remove the tractors to higher ground after water levels rose dramatically.

"The victim then slipped and fell into the river and disappeared swept by the current," he said on condition of anonymity.

Meanwhile, there was chaos in the victims were found after family members angrily against civilians who took the victim pictures using a mobile phone.

Swift action police defuse the situation and persuade the families of the victims to be patient.
