After vocalist jy Exist Chingy on trial for drug-resistant and is now a more popular vocalist of a group arrested and pleaded guilty to a drug effect.
Terra Rossa group's new lead singer pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court near Ampang here today on a charge of possession of the drug methamphetamine in Taman Cempaka here last week.
Khairul Hizam Kaha, 39, known as Jijam made a confession when the charge was read to him by a court interpreter before Magistrate Noor Farah Osman Hazwani.
Vocalist was charged with possession of drugs weighing 0.98 grams in the area Axis Astrium, Taman Cempaka, Ampang near here at 4.30pm on Dec 10 last year.
Deputy Public Prosecutor S. Purnima offer bail of RM5,000 in one surety, however, the accused, who was not represented by counsel, appealed the court granted bail on the grounds that his wife does not work and is dependent on business results.
Court allows Khairul Hizam bail of RM4,000 with one surety and fixed February 12 for mention of the case and the statements of the accused chemistry.
Meanwhile, the singer pleaded not guilty to charges of drug insert it into his body at the Office of the Narcotics Division, District Headquarters Ampang Jaya here at 7.15pm, last May 29.
The court set bail at RM2,000 with one surety and fixed the same date for mention.
