Balik Pulau: A man was injured when the car he was driving hit by fallen trees, while some homes are reported damaged after several regions around the area hit by the storm, a moment ago.
-Old man suspected his 30s was rushed to Balik Pulau Hospital for further treatment, however, the injury suffered by the victim status could not be ascertained.
A police spokesman said the incident occurred around 8.30 pm and lasted until 11 that night also caused by fallen trees in at least nine locations with the most severe at Jalan Tun Sardon, here.
Other locations affected include Jalan Sungai Pinang, Jalan Baru, Jalan Tun Sardon and Jalan Sungai Pinang.
Meanwhile, Member of Legislative Assembly (Assembly) Pulau Betong, Muhammad Farid Saad, when contacted, confirmed at least 10 homes damaged in the incident.
"Until now clearing fallen trees and cutting being carried out on the fire brigade to avoid traffic blocked," he said.
