5 Months Abandoned Hospital Lyme, Avril Lavigne Mati Rasa Nak | NEW YORK - rock singer, Avril Lavigne told she was bedridden for five months suffering from Lyme disease and felt like it was almost dead.

Singer and guitarist born 30-year-old Canadian was confirmed reports in the social media in the past about his illness but explained she now feels much healthier after a long absence from the appearance in public.

"Feels like difficulty breathing, difficulty speaking and moving," said Lavigne to US celebrity magazine, People published today.

"Remember I was about to die," he said.

According to Lavigne, she was bed-ridden for five months after the diagnosis of Lyme disease is usually spread due to a kind of flea bites.

"Sometimes I can not shower for a week because I can stand .. feel like a lot of things that suck the life out of this," he admitted was 80 percent recovered as well taken care of her mother in Ontario and her husband, Chad Kroeger, Nickelback vocalist.

Each year, an estimated 300,000 Americans who are diagnosed with Lyme disease, according to the Centers for Disease Control while a small number of cases were recorded in Europe.

Recent research indicates Lyme disease spreading mainly in Canada because the weather changes cause the area to become a breeding ground for fleas widening.

Lavigne is among the artists who created the surprise at the global level as in 2002 while still a teenager, appearing through the album Let Go - pop melodies blended with soft grunge effect.

The singer who also has French citizenship, has not released an album since 2013 but say there is writing songs for Special Olympics in Los Angeles in July.
