Singapore PM highest salaries in the world

Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong, listed as a national leader who earned the highest annual salaries among world leaders by US $ 1.7 million (RM6.1 million).

International Business Times report mentions income Hsien Loong was considered high for the leader of a small country. It requires a combined income of the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom (UK) to equal the income Hsien Loong.

President of the United States (US), Barack Obama is in second place with earnings of US $ 400,000 (RM1.4 million) per year, followed by the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper and German Chancellor Angela Merkel with each earn an annual income of US $ 260,000 (RM942,232) and US $ 234.400 (RM849,459).
