At least five dead and dozens injured when a regional train derailed and overturned in Philadelphia, United States.

WASHINGTON: At least five dead and dozens injured when a regional train derailed and overturned in Philadelphia, United States.

Amtrak train 188 were reportedly carrying around 240 passengers capsized midnight Tuesday.

Firefighters at the scene report also mentions a 10-car made of bent metal.

Dozens of rescue team members use a flashlight and a ladder to look for survivors.

Police, fire and ambulance deployed looks occupies space around the scene.

Train 188 was scheduled to depart Washington at 7:10 pm local time and arrive in New York at 10:34 pm.

Amtrak trains will also be equipped with safety belts.

National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) reportedly is collecting information about the incident.
