MAS flight MH179 back

SHAH ALAM - A MAS flight MH179 understood to have turned back after going round and round in the waters of the Straits of Malacca for two hours.

According to Twitter Flightradar24, aircraft leading to Colombo, Sri Lanka was flying by making a circle in the waters west of Crab hour 11.30pm.

In twitter Flightradar24 at 1.30 am call, the plane was turned back to Kuala Lumpur after two hours burning fuel to reduce weight while landing.

The aircraft landed safely at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), about 20 minutes later.

However, until now no information on why the plane turned back to KLIA.
