300 mystery object found in Tanjung Balau


More than 300 objects that resemble mysterious carvings on the temple Borobodur recorded by Assistant Curator of Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum, Muhammed Iqbal Rosli when accompanying state government representatives to that location on the coast of Tanjung Balau overnight.

HIGH CITY - More than 300 mysterious objects that resemble sculptures on temple Borobodur, in central Java, Indonesia was found on a rock on the beach of Tanjung Balau near here yesterday.

Some locals said that objects in a variety of colors that are used to remove the rack or offerings to spirits.

Assistant Curator of Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum, Muhammed Iqbal Rosli said he was aware of the existence of the object when accompanying state government representatives to that location.

He said he was indirectly interfere with the view of geology at Tanjung Balau being gazetted as a historical area.

"We do not know who put the objects and rituals performed whether it is a process of religious worship or ritual.

"We also do not move it because it's too much and worry in the event of the unexpected. However, the numbers are decreasing because of carrying the tide," said Muhammed Iqbal.

He said that visitors do not approach the object and touch it for fear of harm because yet identified the material contained therein.

"But we understand that it is an annual religious ceremony but did not know what religion and we are still investigating this matter," he said.

Meanwhile Kadi Kota Tinggi, Mohd Fauzi Bachok said police were investigating whether it involved the Muslim community.
