Kuala Lumpur: Director Studio Astro Awani, Ilancheliyan Adaikalam reckoned, 49, died in a road accident in Segambut roundabout here today.
In the incident at 1:36 pm, the victim died at the scene from severe head injuries after being run over by a trailer.
Traffic Investigation and Legal Officer Kuala Lumpur, DSP S.Markandan said the motorcycle ridden Ilancheliyan reliable friction with trailer causing the victim lying on the road.
"During the incident, the victim was on his way to work, while the trailer is on the way from the city center to Mumbai," he said.
The body was sent to the Selayang Hospital for autopsy, case will be investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
