Corporal police arrested a woman suspected of murder



Johor Bahru - A policeman rank of Corporal arrested early today after a suspected murder of a woman in a jogging track in the town of Mersing.

Mersing District Police Chief Supt M Kumar said 38-year-old man was sent victims aged 35 to Mersing Hospital before he was arrested.

"Reliable policeman widower and widow women that had long been acquainted.

"It is understood that the first lady went to the house of the man in the (district) police housing in the town of Mersing before both then to areas such as jogging tracks on a motorcycle," he said when contacted here today.

Kumar said, believed there was an argument between them at about 11:45 the night before she allegedly was beaten by a suspect using a blunt weapon and unconsciousness.

He said the man was then acts back to his house, which is located about 10 minutes from the scene to take his car and turned back to retrieve and send the victim to the hospital by car.

He said the women involved who suffered head injuries, however, died on the way to hospital.

"Police then arrested the man who had worked in the area for the past four years ago and he is now remanded for further investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder," he said.

According to Kumar, the bodies of the women who were still in Mersing Hospital will be sent to a hospital here for autopsy.
