KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) did not practice favoritism in the investigation and did not provide an exception though he diklasifikan high-profile cases.

MACC Chief Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed said, it includes involving Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor in the investigation of the ring purchase a hot topic in 2011.

"We investigate allegations ring purchase RM24.4 million by Rosmah one hour after the report was made on the MACC in 2011.

"Two hours later, I call on the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and asked his wife to bring the ring that dealt with it," he was quoted Sin Chew Daily.

Abu Kassim said, the Customs Department officials also contacted the next day and got a confirmation that the ring was sent back to New York.

"This is the first time we disclose it.

"I want to tell you, if we investigate the prime minister's wife, whether they have a case that we're afraid to be investigated?" he said.
