SHAH ALAM - first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj deemed too frequently rebuked and criticized the leadership of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at the beginning of his administration, especially when faced with several issues including constitutional crisis, the crisis of the kings and judges, but he did not take dizziness.

So says Secretary Cluster Politics, Security and International Affairs, National Council of Professors (MPN), Prof Datuk Abdul Halim Sidek, stressing that although Dr Mahathir was chastised, but he does not treat the criticism.

"Tunku Abdul Rahman common scolds Mahathir, Mahathir thank him not only intellectually but even there people to challenge Mahathir, he received only. Ages Tunku became Prime Minister, Mahathir, who scolds him even underneath, during Tun Razak was likewise, no one scolds him.

"Every prime minister, there are people commented, this culture well and good, although the strike had the support of many parties, but it is not up to drop," he told the Herald Online, today.

He was responding to strike Dr Mahathir's leadership, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak since lately due to several issues, including the question of granting 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M), 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu and achievements BN bad on the 12th and 13th general election.

Elaborating, Abdul Halim also reminded Dr Mahathir so as not to violate legal boundaries in making a public reprimand because he allegedly had disrupted the Najib administration including spoil the harmony of the country.

"Now the days of Najib, Dr Mahathir commented again, because he has an idea, this is a healthy practice, the former prime minister gave a view but should not interfere in the administration of the country which can impose administrative head now.

"Actually what Dr Mahathir do this is in contravention of the Sedition Act, the act, it can cause chaos country, so therefore respectfully rule now (Najib) against him, then no action is taken by the police to record the statement of Dr Mahathir and his supporters -penyokong her, "he said.

Abdul Halim also said, has not yet taken action following the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar allegedly yet to refer the matter to the Prime Minister before the next step is taken.

"At the present time yet again (take action), we see KPN not want to act anymore, priority must remember as the former Prime Minister, usually KPN will refer to the former prime minister because he is the chairman of the National Security Council.

"If it affects the safety and wellbeing of the country, then action can be taken," he said.
