Who would have thought after 10 years of photographing the homeless, the woman finally realized one of them was his father who had been separated.
Diana Kim is a photographer assigned to take pictures of the homeless in the vicinity of Hawaii.
After 10 years of doing that work, Diana realized that one of the homeless are separate biological father since he was 8 years old after his parents divorced.
Through his blog, homelessparadise.com, Diana said she met her father when taking pictures around Honolulu in 2012, and then she realizes her father is one of the homeless people who live in the area.
"He suffered from schizophrenia and was always fighting with someone who does not exist." He said.
Add Diana, before, her grandmother had told her about his mental health deteriorated, but nobody knows where his father lived.
After reuniting with his father, Diana tried his best to reach out and provide help to his father, although his father was reluctant.
However, after his father had a heart attack in 2014, he finally agreed to be treated.
After undergoing a series of treatments, her father is now back to normal and doing normal life.
