Police found the body of Kevin Morais in concrete vats in Subang Jaya

Subang Jaya Police found the bodies Deputy Appellate and Trial Division of the Attorney General, Anthony Kevin Morais in a vat of concrete in USJ One, Subang Jaya, this morning.

CID Director Comm Datuk Seri Mohamad Salleh, said the bodies were found Morais due to the recognition of several key suspects were arrested in two different locations on Tuesday in Penang and the Klang Valley.

"So the next morning in this place that we've got BANTAN fire, and after the drum barrel is broken we found one body we believe the late Kevin Morais, who lost.

"Even after all confirmation of the true identity will be made when the post mortem conducted this afternoon by a pathologist HKL (Hospital Kuala Lumpur). We expect this post mortem at 1:30 or 2 pm," he told reporters, here, today.

He said Morais corpse was taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur Kuala Lumpur Hospital for forensic examination and subsequent ratification.

Police informed the bodies were taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).

He also informed that a military officer who has been spoken of a doctor with a corruption case two weeks ago, have been arrested, including seven other individuals.

Mohmad Morais also said that military officials had handled the case.

He also informed that so far some seizures have been made in Penang and the Klang Valley including a Mitsubishi Triton, and a Honda Accord used by one of the suspects as well as a cash prize of RM17,100.

"While in the Klang Valley, a Proton Persona, owned by one of the suspects, RM15,000 and a letter of stone, sand and cement are believed to be used to compress the bodies," he said.

In the meantime, Mohmad also dismissed speculation linking the case with the murder Bank founder, Hussein Ahmad Najadi or issues related to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

"Here we want to deny that the disappearance and death Morais has nothing to do directly with the speculations made before.," He said.

Investigations since 6 am this morning, the team conducted policemen led Special Task Force on Organised Crime (STAFOC) carrying out inspections in USJ 1, along with several men, believed the suspects who fled the season.

Morais was reported missing after leaving her home in Condominium Jalan DutaMas, Sept. 4 to get to work in the Office of the Attorney General, Putrajaya.
