Video: Movie Dracula Hina elements of Islam, showing in Malaysia should be reviewed

Kuala Lumpur: An Umno Youth exco member today urged the government to review its approval of the delivery of a Hollywood movie "Dracula Untold" is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
Dr. Fath Bari Mat Jahya making the call via his Twitter page, saying the movie release will need to be returned because it has elements that insult Islam.

"The film 'Dracula Untold' needs to be evaluated publication. There are elements of insulting Islam, "he said through his Twitter accountustazfathulbari.

He also sent a message to the Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek
and Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to put their name tags.

He then answered questions one of the Twitter users who claim the film is sensitive because it has scenes that show the agreement between Turkey and the Prince Sultan Transelvania, writing the name of God.

He said the push is not only committed to the film insulting Islam but he will loudly criticize if it happens to any religion.

"We also do not agree to any film or drama which involves insults to any religion other than Islam. Islam calls memghormati religious differences, "he said.

"Untold Dracula" which was filmed in the cinema now is Universal Pictures production directed by Gary Shore.

It is a genre fiction horror film adapted from the famous novel of Bram Stocker Irish.

It tells the story of a prince, played by Luke Evans, who ruled Transylvania had to make a deal to make himself a great hero in order to save his family from the clutches of the government and the Turkish army.
