Chinese tourists alleged polluter, the White Temple had to build a new toilet



BANGKOK: A famous temple in northern Thailand will build separate toilets specifically for tourists from China.

Wat Rong Khun, or better known as the White Temple, Chiang Rai province will add a new toilet as a solution to the complaint against alleged Chinese tourists 'unethical' when in the bathroom, an official said on Saturday shrine to the news agency dpa.

Prior to this, the temple has banned the presence of visitors from China after several groups of Chinese tourists have damaged toilet in situ.

"They defecate on the floor, urinated on the walls outside and leave the pads in the bathroom wall," said one official who requested anonymity.

Designers wat it, Chalermchai Kositpipat, in a television interview, said it was "impossible" for other travelers to use the bathroom after tourists visited China.

So, as a solution, he chose to build a new toilet specifically for their use.
