'Dah oil prices rise, the prices of the campaign what will happen?'



KUALA LUMPUR: The public expressed concern that the increase in petrol and fuel prices announced by the government on Saturday will cause prices to rise twice.

In social media, on average, they wondered whether the campaign Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (Ministry) to lower the price of goods is still ongoing.

Many also feel that the new price would burden consumers coupled with the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) with effect from 1 April.

On Saturday, the ministry announced the price of petrol RON95, RON97 and diesel increased by 25 cents a liter from March 1, 2015.

The announcement was made the new price of RON95 is RM1.95, RON 97 RM2.25, RM1.95 and Diesel.
