Giant fish found washed up on the beach of Catalina island

LOS ANGELES - UNITED STATES. Deep sea fish species known as 'Oarfish' found stranded on the beach of Catalina island, on Monday.

According to CNN reports, the fish measuring 17 feet long.

The woman, Annie Macaulay told, he took his son to play kayak on the island.

He said he was aware of these fish species, but never met him.

"The fish are believed to live at a depth of 3,000 feet.
