KUALA LUMPUR: The fact that 'tomorrow will no longer PRU' by Datuk Ahmad Maslansememangnya "international joke" because it does not make sense, says former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

He also described the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) was as aloof.

"A man who is arrogant in office in the party and the government said no election tomorrow.

"It's like when a mother asked her what she wanted to be when he grew up and his answer 'tomorrow I'm still a slave, mother'," Muhyiddin said Umno conference Kluang in Pekan Rabu Complex on Sunday.

He said he was aware of the general election (PRU) is not tomorrow, but what he says is Perum that UMNO is likely to be lost if the election was held because there are some issues that are not addressed.

"This may be an international joke. I used a couple of times a director UMNO elections ... what I say is to remind.

"My statement is not to harm the reputation of the party," said Muhyiddin again while noting the difficulty of UMNO will face if they do not get up now.

On Monday, Muhyiddin said in a statement said that if the election were held tomorrow, the Barisan Nasional (BN) will be lost.

He also expressed concern that, based on feedback from the community at the grassroots level.

Responding to the statement, Ahmad Maslan said there is no need to answer whether BN can win the general election if he or is not held tomorrow, because he thinks GE is likely to be held in 2018.

He said, 'tomorrow' is simply a preparation for the 14th general election, rather than GE itself.
