GHB is not a political party - Raja Bahrin

Kuala Terengganu: MP Kuala Terengganu Raja Datuk Kamarul Bahrin Shah today to maintain the status of the New Hope Movement (GHB) as a non-governmental, NGO and not a political party.

"GHB is an NGO, so the status of these two organizations (GHB and PAS) is very different, the political parties and other organizations," he said when met at AWANI Astro Hari Raya open house advice.

Therefore, he said, is not a problem for PAS members to join the NGO seemed like GHB.

"In the Constitution of PAS or any political party like UMNO though, did not prevent members were involved in any organizations," said Raja Kamarul Bahrin.

However, he still insists duties as a Member of Parliament PAS ready to provide clarification on its position in GHB to PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang or party disciplinary committee to deal with any eventuality.

"Then what's up, what actions the official said, I'm ready (to deal with anything), because we have to be responsible for what we do and I, as representatives of the people just doing my job as an elected representative and I can deal with anything (anything) , "he said.

He had earlier announced his appointment as Chairman of New Hope Movement (GHB) State.

Kuala Terengganu PAS also announced severed all relations with the King of Kamarul Bahrin following his announcement as the Chairman of New Hope Movement (GHB) State.

The decision was made PAS Kuala Terengganu in its meeting on Saturday.
