MACC confirm detained former director of Tanjung Offshore

MACC confirm the former director of Tanjung Offshore detained.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today confirmed a former senior director of Tanjung Offshore Bhd detained about purchasing company Gas Generators (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

"The Commission will seek a remand order tomorrow," said MACC spokesperson told Bernama when contacted here.

Tanjung Offshore news coverage lately due to a dispute board members, which led to the suspension of three officers of the company, earlier this year.

Tanjung Offshore is principally engaged in the provision of engineering equipment, equipment maintenance services, service production platform for the oil and gas industry through its subsidiaries.

At the end of trading today, the company's stock price was unchanged at 47 sen with 35,100 shares traded.
