Police detain four men involved in the murder

KUALA LUMPUR - Four suspects were believed to be linked to the death of a man who was seriously injured in a robbery at PPR Batu Muda, Jalan Ipoh, last Friday.

Sentul district police chief Assistant Commissioner R. Munusamy said in the 9.15pm incident, the victim was sleeping on the pavement in the area visited by three men and keep hitting the victim.

"The suspect's car had hit the Iswara Aeroback use wood, plastic chairs and brandishing a long knife towards the victim.

In the incident, the victim was injured in both hands and his left ear. The suspects also took away mobile phones of Nokia, identity card and RM50 cash, it said in a statement here today.

Munusamy said the victim was 39 years old and the teenager collapsed and died on the road near Casa Dream Condominium, Sajang on the way to the police station to make a report Sajang, after being treated in hospital.

"The victim was treated at the hospital, was giving evidence to the police and to see his mother," he said.

Subsequently, the police arrested a 32-year-old man and seized a car Wira Aeroback using fake registration numbers and results of interrogations, three men aged between 18 and 31 were arrested, he said.

"One of the suspects has a record of hurting people under Section 324 of the Penal Code and all were remanded and investigated under Section 302 for murder," he said.
