SINCE recent novel to screenplay adaptation is no longer a new thing in the industry, but several local production companies have begun to follow the pace of the industry in producing this kind of work.
Undoubtedly, the success of the adaptation work to rival the works of ordinary and even some of them are able to achieve the highest quotation during the slideshow.
In addition to several other productions, Global Station Sdn Bhd, is one of the publishing company active in producing works of adaptation, regardless of the television screen to the silver screen as well.
In fact, four years ago, the company owned by major publishers, Datin Zaiton Moh Soul, has chosen seven popular novel published by Millennium 21 to be adapted.
These include Remote, sweet Love, You're The One, No Second, you me, Love and Shadows Adam and Eve.
According Zaiton or fondly called Kak Ton this, some of the novel that has already been screened and some of them set to debut soon.
Not only as an on television, but some work was also appointed to the silver screen, including novel excerpts popular novelist, Nia Azalea, You're The One.
"GOD willing, film adaptation, You're The One is set to debut soon. Most likely, it will be shown at the end of this year or early next year.
"Now, the process of filming has been completed except for a slight touch again at the level of editing and other processes to beautify the effect of cinematography," the publisher said.
Asked about the election of the novel as film copies, Kak Ton said that the storyline and intriguing lesson in it is able to make this film as the best film production and cooperation with the parties concerned.
"While travel stories rather 'cliche', but I believe that this novel is its own followers that among its readers. In fact, I am sure, many readers who wanted to watch it visually on a larger screen.
"At the Global Station, we are more selective in choosing manuscripts. Furthermore, I was the one who liked the storyline of love and romance genre. After all, I do not know how to tell them horror movie or action.
"Elections are not a novel to be adapted because we've run out of ideas to produce outstanding work. However, it is the current trend. As an artist, I just want to suspect the viewers in every corner," he said, expect a warm welcome among fans of the novel and the audience in the cinema.
First time with Osman Ali
Previously, through some other adaptation works, Global Station select several famous directors including Bernard Chauly for Sweetness Love In Cappadoccia and Feroz Kader (Mr. Perfect Husband 10).
The One You're With, Kak Ton said he chose the director famous film adaptation, Osman Ali as confident of our ability on the great director.
"The first time you read the story of this novel, I have seen, Osman Ali is the most qualified directors to develop this story very well.
"Remember his films, Ombak Rindu. However, I am measuring the film not only on the basis of the collection, but the storytelling and how Osman took it.
"To me, Osman has a soul that 'soft' and can lull the audience into his work. He is good at emotional games with the audience," he said.
Add Kak Ton, since this film is not yet completed, he only saw only part of the movie ride.
"Thank God, what I saw, it meets my needs and I am very satisfied with the work of Osman although only see parts of it.
"In fact, I hope the best for this film as films of previous issues," he said.
Aaron, Zara compatible coupling
The film tells the story of Salina and Taufik were forced to agree with their parents' decision to jointly arranged marriage, Kak Ton choose a compatible pair, Aaron Aziz and Zara Aisha as the main lead.
As both have never been paired together, Kak Ton explains that casting is not the point of view simply because each has its own advantages.
"There is no need to doubt the greatness of Aaron on the silver screen as previously he had already proved his prowess in several other copies.
"I chose Aaron and yet it is through discussions with several other parties involved as deputy and director of his own production.
"Despite the fact that little old Aaron, but on screen, bodybuilding and emotions do not reflect the true age of the actor. He was brilliant to play with the 'body language' and have a distinctive character, even though this is the first time gandingannya with Zara," said Kak Ton.
Zara is selected, the Kak Ton denied Zara is not selected for external relations set, even for him Zara there is something special in his talent.
"In the film, Pilot Cafe, I saw Zara acted very well. In fact, prior to this he also showcased his ability in acting.
"For me, they are a mix of compatible and many were excited to see them together on the screen," he said again.
