ALOR SETAR - The autopsy found that there were some bruises and fractures on the body of eight-month-old baby boy who died yesterday (May 2) in HSB (HSB) here.
Selangor CID chief ACP Mohd Nasir Ya said forensic experts found bruises on the head, face, arms, legs and back.
There is also the effect of a broken left collarbone and arm bones than an infection of the lining of the brain and brain swelling, he said in a statement here today.
He said his injuries were believed to be from the context baby with a blunt object, whether due to shock or fall and cause of death is still under investigation.
Mohd Nasir said the two suspects, 30-year-old woman, and the man, 40, who is also the adoptive parents of the baby, was remanded from today until May 9 to assist in investigations.
They live in Taman Rasa Sayang, z. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
In the event 12:10 midnight on Friday (May 1) z Emergency Department receives an eight month old baby who was unconscious before being transferred to HSB at 11.55am today (May 2).
The baby was pronounced dead at 4:04 pm.
