KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Student Math smart, Nur Fitri Azmeer Nordin, 23, was sentenced to five years imprisonment for the offense has more than 30,000 pornographic images and videos of children by Southwark Crown Court, London on Thursday.

"The custodial sentence is difficult to avoid the court sentenced as the number of images and content are owned by Nur Fitri at alarming levels," said one of the Serious Crimes Unit of the Metropolitan Officer, Sara Keane.

Nur Fitri coming from Malim Nawar Perak is a former student of Secondary School Science Teluk Intan.

After Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) in 2009, Nur Fitri went to study at one of the international preparatory college in Malaysia before being offered a scholarship Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) to study at Imperial College in London, majoring in Mathematics.

In 2011, Nur Fitri had competed in the Olympic Mathematics Championships in Amsterdam.
