Six drivers racing for DUKE, 3 killed, including a baby

As a result of irresponsible drivers racing on the road, including three family killed the baby is 6 months old. 


KUALA LUMPUR: A couple and their baby daughter died aged seven months in the crash involving three vehicles on Highway KM 6.2 Duke here early this morning.

They are Fairuz Husain Nizam, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25, and their baby Nur Annisa Firuza, reports Bernama.

Fairuz driving a Pajero vehicle died at the scene of the crash while his wife and son died in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Staff Officer and Legal Investigation of Traffic Kuala Lumpur, DSP S. Markandan said the incident occurred at about 1:05 o'clock in the morning on the trail leading from the Ulu Klang Jalan Duta.

He said the accident happened when the car Pajero was located in the middle lane reliable digesel from the right side by a Myvi.

"As a result of the infringement, the car skidded to the left before being hit by a car again Myvi which was in the left lane.

"Vehicle swivel victim several times and caused them to be thrown on the road," he told Bernama.

Both drivers Myvi car, including a 35-year-old woman suffered minor injuries while another male drivers aged 31 were injured.

Asked whether the accident was caused by six Myvi cars are racing at that time Duke Highway as viewed in Facebook, Markandan said they are still investigating the matter.

"We understand that the six drivers that Myvi recently returned from drinking in Ampang. The we were taking statements from them," he said.
