Tampa - Umno leaders who allegedly intends to join the opposition MPs to topple the government, will meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the leaders had realized his mistake and is willing to meet with Najib and the meeting is to be held 6 pm today.
"The information I get is authentic, not roadside information and this information do I get from people who attended the meeting itself.
"If I do not raise the prospect of now, perhaps more BN MPs have been bought with the signing of the manifesto," he said when opening the Umno delegates meeting here today Saki.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also vice-president stressed that there was a plan to ask BN MPs to 'cross over' together with the opposition parties to sign a letter of undertaking to overthrow the existing government.
"I know who the lawyers that provides document and I do not need to call the name of the lawyer, (he) is not our lawyer.
"I just can not say the name but the information is correct and evil plan," he said.
Ahmad Zahid said Umno will not allow any attempt to topple the government but through elections.
"We do not want this to happen because we love the present government elected by the people for the legitimate and democratic.
"System and molded Malaysia must be respected by all political parties in our country," he said.
