Video footage flagellation baby is old case - police

Dera cases of viral over the past few days is not a new case - Anuar

KUALA LUMPUR: Ipoh district deputy police chief Supt Anuar Bin Othman today issued a statement following the deployment of video that became viral infants abused in the social networking site Facebook and WhatsApp application past few days.

According to a statement, the Ipoh district deputy police chief Supt Anuar Othman Bin uploaded to your Facebook account Perak police investigation found that the suspect was a baby and his mother are the same individuals involved in the video footage on 19 April 2015.

It is understood that the investigation also found that the suspects had made recordings other than a recording that became viral before. The issue that has arisen since a few days ago not new reported cases of abuse.

According to Supt Anuar, the baby is now under the custody of his grandmother since released from the hospital for examination.

The suspect, in the meantime, were counseled by Victim Care Office (VCO) Silver and baby overseen by the Social Welfare Department.

The baby is now reported to be in good health and the results of medical examination found no injury on the body and the head of the victim.
