Zayn Malik role model in anti-terror project

With Zayn as an example, the girls will understand that their future is brighter living in the country.

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer and former member of One Direction, Zayn Malik has been roped in an anti-terrorism project as their icon in helping to stop young British Muslim girls from being recruited to become jihadi brides.

The project, headed by The Apprenticestar Nurun Ahmed, believes that with Zayn as an example, the girls will understand that their future is brighter living in the country, Inquisitr reported.

The project was set up after three young girls, Amira Abase, Kadiza Sultana, dan Shamima Begum, left their homes and families in London to join Islamic State (IS) in Syria. They are believed to be married to IS militants.

But latest reports claimed that the girls have gone missing and IS is now searching thoroughly for them.

The authorities fear that girls will be able to run away more easily during school break in July.
