Beaten for refusing to join a gang of thugs

KLANG - A form a group of teenage boys were injured beaten for refusing to join a gang.

South Klang district police chief ACP Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the victim was attacked last Thursday, at around 12.30pm.

"Some young men approached the victim and dragging it to a residential area near and pushing up falling prey to the gutter.

"The victim allegedly was beaten for refusing to join a gang with the suspect. Consequently victims injured in the hand, scratches on the back and leg injuries, "he said.

According to him, the suspect hit the victim, however, stop and fled after police spotted patrolling in the area.

"Following the incident, police arrested a 13-year-old boy for investigation. Investigations revealed that the suspect had left school more than two years.

"The detailed investigation carried out to identify whether the suspects involved gangsterism," he said.

Police are now hunting the remnants friend suspects for investigation.

"The injured in the hand, the back of the body and legs were referred to hospital for treatment," he said.
