Plan your trip: Alert thunderstorms in the Straits of Melaka

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Meteorological Department today issued a warning, a thunderstorm over the waters Perak, Selangor and Melaka Straits is expected to continue until early this afternoon.

The department said in a statement today said the situation could result in winds of 50 kmph and rough seas with waves up to 3.5 meters and dangerous to small boats.
